Opera 9.6 Ready for Download

I first installed Opera 9.26 some time ago and used it occasionally to see how my free wordpress themes appear in different browsers. Buzz about new Opera 9.5 was then reverberating across the blogosphere, so intense that I couldn't resist to upgrade it right away. There are huge improvements especially in term of memory usage and speed. So what Opera 9.6 brings to its fans this time round?

It still has the black-luster design which uniquely associated to Opera 9.5 but of course with few enhancements. As far as productivity is concerned, it offers up a multifaceted ''low bandwidth mode'' for Opera Mail which benefits low end users.

The feed preview is one of new features rolls into Opera's RSS management, thus users can preview feeds before subscribing to them. Another improvement is on Opera Link, the browser's synchronization service. It now supports synchronizing typed history and custom search engine preferences. It means, if you type something into the search or location bar, you can now sync it to the computer that you're using.

There is a full review of list of features here.

For me as long as I can browse seamlessly and it doesn't take up significant fraction of system memory, I think that's more than enough.
