Social bookmarking is becoming more popular and it can be seen from the emergence of hundreds of new social bookmarking sites all over the net. With hundreds of them, efficient submission becomes demanding and this explains why there are several services on the net offer to do the submission on our behalf at a certain price.
Anyway paid submission services lack of flexibility; typically they submit the same description all over the social bookmarking sites. The link building will look automated and unnatural. Sooner or later bookmarking sites will catch you and worst of all you site will be banned forever from their systems. Speaking of efficient submission, I'd already made a review on socialmarker, and yeah it's good at mass submissions.
Anyway, I'm no longer a big fan of socialmarker. One of the reason is it takes ages to move from one social bookmarking site to another. Rather than do mass submission, lately, I tend to use del.icio.us and few more social bookmarking sites frequently and less for the rest.
In the quest of finding alternative and better way in doing bookmarking, I found Bookmarker, a Firefox plugin that enables you to save and manage all your bookmarks online. So far, it supports

While this plugin is doing great, it doesn't, however, cover most of other social bookmarking sites. So here some other related Firefox plugins as well.

2. SFE (Simply) - Adds social bookmarking capabilities with tags and notes to Firefox using Simpy. This extension was previously known as Simpy.
3. Alltagz - For use with www.alltagz.de, a german social bookmarking site
4. Delicious Bookmark - The Official Delicious Add-on seamlessly integrates your browser with del.icio.us, the leading social bookmarking service on the Web.
5. Faves - Faves (formerly Blue Dot) is a Social Bookmarking service that lets you save your favorite web sites, tag them, and share & discuss them with your friends, family, and Faves users with similar interests. The Faves toolbar adds two buttons: one to create a bookmark of the current.
