Most of internet users use RSS aggregators to keep themselves updated with their favorite websites or blogs. By using the syndication, time taken to learn the goings-on in hundreds or even thousands of websites can squeezed be down into a small fraction of time, thus sparing us more time to do other useful activities.
Unfortunately, this is not necessarily the case. There are some websites or blogs which do not provide RSS subscription. Visiting their websites is the only option left to us but again, we don't want to waste our luxury time. If you are a Firefox user you are hugely indebted to Update Scanner. This little plugin offers you the solution towards the problem.
You can add as many websites as you wish into the check list and a notification will be issued once a change is detected. The installation is as easy as any other Firefox plugins. Anyway, the following is some screenshots to show you how Update Scanner works.
