Eches.net finally moved on to new VPS over at Knownhost, that was after 1 month and a half residing in $99/month VPS in Siteground. There are few more hostings in my list that offer competitive price (I mentioned previously in this post), but Knownhost seems to offer the best support (that's what I care the most) and not to mention the performance.
I thought the domain transfer would bring down this blog momentarily but it wasn't; all files and databases were backed up and transferred smoothly and quickly. Please bear in mind, the transfer is not fully propagated as just yet, so you might notice some hiccups when you browse this blog.
With this new hosting I only need to pay $30 for 400 GB bandwidth, 10 GB space, 256 MB (min), 768 MB (Burst) with 2 dedicated IP and on top of that an extra of $5 for cPanel/WHM; roughly one third of what I pay in Siteground. There are lot of things that I need to explore inside the WebHost Manager (WHM) and I'm pretty excited with this new stuff. The FTP access is quick (compared with Siteground), the loading is fast, the support is superb, so I hope eches.net will reside in Knowhost for quite some time.
On the other note, lately this blog lacks of post because I'm at the middle of something and this new hosting transfer only adds up to the procrastination. But don't worry it will be back on track very soon.
